<p>This layer groups geologic, biologic, active processes, and man-made map units into groups that have common physical features and properties. </p><\/SPAN><\/P> <dl><\/SPAN><\/P> <\/P> <dt>Group II</dt><\/SPAN><\/P> <dd>Geologic units include beach, foredunes, barrier vegetated flats. Dominantly sand, high to very high permeability, low water-holding capacity, low compressibility, low shrink-swell potential, good drainage, low ridge and depressed relief, high shear strength, low plasticity. </dd><\/SPAN><\/P> <dt>Group VI</dt><\/SPAN><\/P> <dd>Geologic units include tidal flat and salt marsh. Permanently high water table, very low permeability, high water-holding capacity, very poor drainage, very poor load-bearing strength, subject to frequent tidal inundations.</dd><\/SPAN><\/P> <\/P> </dl><\/SPAN><\/P> <\/P><\/DIV>",
